Hello Scouts and Parents, WHAT’S POPPIN’?

It’s that time of the year again!  Time for POPCORN SHOW-N-SELLS!!!.  We have just posted our first few weeks of Show-N-Sells.  We will be adding more dates every week.  This year we will be selling at Lowes in Robinson on Labor Day weekend and Lowes in Washington for a few weekends in Sept and Oct.  Walmart will not allow popcorn sales this year. .

Sign-ups will be the same this year:

You will be allowed to sign up for 2 hours for each weekend.  HOWEVER, if there are still open slots on Wednesday morning for that weekend then feel free to sign-up for additional slots for the upcoming weekend. This should allow everyone to get hours.

You will be able to remove your name from sign-up sheet if you used your LOGIN to sign up. You will be able to cancel your name up until Thursday night prior to your time slot. If you need to cancel after your time slot after Thursday, please txt Karen Billingham at 412-780-9757. For Cub scouts,  we need to have 2 boys per table at each show-n-sell.

If you sign up for the FIRST or LAST HOUR of the day you must be willing to help transport popcorn if needed.  This will be needed if Cara Robitaille, Caterina Massimino, or Karen Billingham cannot open or close the event or if there are multiple show-n-sale events on the same day.

To sign up go signup tab on PACK843.org or click here!

South Fayette Community Days 2018

Pack 843 will be running a booth at the South Fayette Community Days on Saturday, August 25th,  The event runs from 11 to 5 at Fairview Park.  We want to get as many scouts there IN UNIFORM as we can, to help show the community our involvement, and to recruit your friends to join our Pack!

Scouts, please register on the sign-ups page for a two hour time slot.  We’d like to have at least 2 scouts there at all times, but if there are more, that’s okay!

At the event we will have the ‘Donut on a string’ game (same game played at the Holiday party last year) and others.  We also need scouts to talk about all the fun adventures they experience at scouts.  Sign up now to join in the fun!

Our Charter organization is looking for help for Community Days on Saturday June 2nd from 11:30am – 1:30pm

If your scout has an hour or two on Saturday, June 2nd, from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. please volunteer some time at Resurrection Lutheran Church (our Charter Organization) located at 7600 Steubenville Pike, Oakdale, PA.  They are having Community Days which will include free food and games.  The church is asking our scouts to run the games for the small children.  This counts towards community service time.  The church was very impressed and grateful for the scouts that volunteered for the Spaghetti Dinner on election night.  Thank you.
