For anyone interested, Pack 843 will be camping at Heritage Reservation the weekend of 9/19/14-9/21/14 for the District’s Fishing Derby weekend at Heritage Reservation.  We check in late Friday afternoon and check out early Sunday morning.

The cost is $45 per camper.  All meals are included.  Saturday will feature fishing and field sports, i.e. archery, bb guns.  Kayaks and canoes will be available for an additional $10.  We will be staying in tents again.  For those of you who have attended resident camp, it is a shorter scaled back version.  Take a look at the following website for more information:

Mark has have attended this event (some years it is called Mountainfest) each year they have held it for the past 6 years.  The attendance varies from year to year.  In some years the attendance is very light and other years they have been packed in like sardines.  In some years, we have had interior campsites (not close to parking) and last year everyone had to park off site and take shuttles.  Each year, however, everyone who attended had a very good time.

Mark will be making the reservation for our pack on August 31, 2014.  If you are interested in coming, hewill need your payment by then.
